Bevin Hunter
President & CEO, Wynne Economic Development Corporation
Ms. Bevin Hunter was named President & CEO of Wynne Economic Development Corporation in June of 2023. She will lead the efforts to stimulate expansion of existing businesses and investment, as well as develop and market the industrial park to prospective companies.
Ms. Hunter was previously Director of Economic Development for the Lawrence Group from 2017 to 2023. Ms. Hunter led Wilson AR Works Inc. development, directed special projects, along with city infrastructure needs and works with the Town of Wilson on various projects. In addition to those duties, she also works with the Wilson Music Series and community engagement.

Ms. Hunter served in numerous roles with DRA during her fourteen-year career with the Authority. As Director of the Washington, DC office, she worked closely with federal agencies and congressional staffers from the region and directed flagship programs like the Delta Leadership Institute, Delta Doctors (J-1 Visa Waiver Program), Innovative Readiness Training Missions with the Department of Defense, served as a member of the FEMA Economic RSF Working Group of the National Disaster Recovery Framework, and managed other large scale events with stakeholders and federal agencies including the White House Rural Council.
A native of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, Ms. Hunter currently resides in Wynne, Arkansas and is involved in PEO and other service organizations. She currently works with the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission on Health-related policy work. Additionally, she serves on, Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executive Board, East Arkansas Planning and Development Board, the Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame Board and the Arkansas Community Development Society Board representing Northeast Arkansas.
